Valley Fest

We only discovered Valley Fest in 2021 and as a post-covid family holiday, we could not wait! Having done Glastonbury in the past, going to a festival as a family and feeling safe, low-key and comfortable was something I had never considered before. It did not disappoint, we had an incredible & memorable weekend staying in one of the glamping Yurts. We sampled YEO Orangic (I’m obsessed with their yogurts) and lots of Veggie delights. TEXAS headlined and I got to re-live my 90’s obsession with Summer Son along with some of my favourite hits from White on Blond and the Hush album. Wriggling to the front and rocking a covid mask - very rock and roll!

If we are away for a family holiday, I make conscious choice not to take a digital camera kit, so I can be more enjoying the moment and not juggling camera bags and lenses. Also in the absence of a snappy instant film camera, we took photos on our phones using the yummy Huji App. Simulated light leaks, grain, and vibrant colours are gorgeous and all decided by the app. Here are a few moments from our adventure. Valley Festival - highly recommended.
